I ordered a dozen white roses and 6 iris flowers for Valentines Day. Placed my order almost two weeks in advance, and paid in advance too. I got a call the day before to tell me the iris were not available and if i wanted to substitute tulips.

I ordered and paid for roses to be delivered to my wife for our 31st wedding anniversary. Martin's failed to deliver at all. No reason given or asked for. I will never use this florist again.

When I was putting the flowers on the graves I found a price tag for $30 on the arrangement I pick out from stock but was charged $50 for. When I called and talked to the original person I placed the order with she stated she did write the order down correctly....so again no one taking responsibility and the customer suffers. When I questioned the $20 price difference in the stock arrangement, I was told that was their cost from the wholesaler (this tag should have been removed if it wasn't the correct price for their customer) and they need to make a profit.

Very annoyed, but since it was prepaid and this close to V day I had little choice. Upon picking them up the roses and tulip substitutions were very small and already beginning to wilt. The store itself is run down and unkempt. I will not be using Martin's Flowers again.

The ladies at Martin's have been beyond wonderful in the planning of flowers for my wedding. They are also half the price of competitors I consulted. They've gone out of their way to help me incorporate a color not found in nature too! We've used them previously and have always been impressed with their work. I highly recommend them for your floral needs.

I have used this florist for many years to purchase flowers for my parents and grandparents graves. I always place the order a few weeks in advance for pick up when we visit the area. When I went to pick up my order for this year, the order was not complete and one of the items was not as ordered. I had to wait for the incorrect item to be remade and I had to pick out a "ready made" saddle from their stock room. The people that helped me when I went to pick up the order said the girl that I placed the order with was on vacation so it wasn't their fault the order was wrong.

From what I can tell the original owner has recently retired and turned the business over to her daughter. Unfortunately their customer service has failed and i will no longer use them for my annual purchase (along with arrangements for my many relatives in the area) and I will be taking my business to one of the other florist in Galax.
