I believe they do a fairly good job of running a nursing home and most of the nurses seem competent, as well as friendly and caring. My biggest problem with Waddell is the kitchen. They don't offer a diabetic diet and their idea of a weight loss diet is simply less of everything. So, my mother gets less biscuits and gravy but also less protein and vegetables, so she goes hungry or winds up snacking. The taste also seems to be a major complaint among most residents.
